DESCRIPTION

This design draws inspiration from Sudanese artist Kamala Ibrahim Ishag’s works. Its transparent quality is a nod to the layered brushstrokes of her 1984 oil painting ‘Women in Crystal Cubes’. Made from silk organza with hand embroidery, the horticultural motif and colour palette references the painting ‘My Plant’.
